If you call 10 different carpet cleaning companies, you will get 10 different prices, 10 different mindsets on how carpet cleaning should be done and 10 different levels of service!
Carpet Mills, Inspectors and people from all different parts of the trade got together and developed a written standard to properly clean carpet. However, only a small portion of carpet cleaners actually follow that standard!
To illustrate this, I once had someone call me in panic mode. She needed her carpet cleaned right away and called a different company that services the Fox Valley. He was there that morning and cleaned her carpet. When she came home she was not happy at all. A friend of hers recommended she call me.
I went out later that day and very surprised to find that the carpet was actually pretty dry. It far from clean though. Here are some pictures of what I saw.
